Our AntiSpam solution works by routing all incoming e-mail to your domain
through our AntiSpam servers. There, all e-mail is scored with a number
representing the likelihood that the message is spam. (Click here to learn
more about how messages are scored). Spam is then checked
against your individual settings. If the message scores within the
range you consider spam, it then goes through the process you have chosen:
It is either kept on the server, tagged as spam, or added to the digest list of
spam messages that are sent out to users once per day.
In order to get the messages for your domain, a change will be made to
your DNS (change the .MX records to point to our servers) . We will work
with your e-mail and/or web hosting provider to get the change made. After
the change propagates through the Internet (usually 24-48 hours), mail will
begin to filter through our servers and be scanned for spam.
To ensure ultimate in reliability, we have redundant (backup) mail servers in
multiple locations across the US. We also have backup servers for our
backup servers.
